Interesting way to earn: Creed Media

I know this is not a "money talk" blog, and I didn't want to make it that way. But I recently came across this company called Creed Media, and decided to give it a shot.

Creed Media is actually a flash game advertising network. Advertisers open an account with them, and put their advertisements in their flash games, which are then shown to users when they play the games. For normal people like us, we can sign up for a Publisher account, and advertise Creed Media's games on our Facebook, Twitter or blog. We then earn money when people play the games and/or click the ads.

The good thing about their games is that they're free. People can just play the games when they're bored, and Creed Media earns money from the ads displayed in the games. If you have your own website and have a small audience, then it's really easy to earn with Creed Media, since there will be constant clicks and you can really see the earnings piling up. Even if you don't have a website, you can still advertise it via twitter and facebook. That's what I did before setting up this blog. If you're worried about the "attractiveness" of the flash games, don't worry, because most of their games are classics such as Tower Blocks, Sudoku and variations of Pac-Man and Tetris.

Of course, don't expect to get rich with this. Unless you actively promote the games, your earnings won't go up at all. But since the games are free, it'll be much easier to get clicks, since the audience doesn't have to spend anything other than their spare time. Also, adding games as a widget to your blog helps to make it more interesting for the readers. Just don't spam your blog with the games. Choose one or two games which you think is popular, put it on your blog, and tack it's results. Creed Media helps you track your earnings, so you can see which games are more popular.

P.S. The min. cash-out amount is $25. They will contact you when you reach the limit so as to arrange the pay-out method with you. If you want to join, here's the website: http://www.creed-media.com/publishers

Valentine's Day, with a twist...

Roses. Chocolates. A romantic date. Couples indulge in revelry, while singles move on with their lives like normal. But how do those who lost their "other half" feel?

To those who found courage to move on, I salute thee. For those who haven't, don't give up. "When the going gets tough, the tough gets going".

P.S. Sorry if the girl looks weird. I suck at drawing people.
